We’ve just learned that Beyonce has signed on for an “important” role along with Cali Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger in Sajid Nadiadwala next film titled: Kambakht Ishq starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor.
Beyonce is reportedly doing a sizzling (oh la laaaa) act in the film. Everything is almost finalized,” adds the source.

A federal court has sentence actor and tax evasionist (yeah that’s our new word) to three years in prison for “knowingly and willingly” failing to pay 2.7million in back taxes.
Snipes was upbeat leaving the court with his wife as he waved to the crowd of supporters gathered outside. The sentencing hearing even included handwritten testimonies of character from fellow Hollywood pals like Woody Harrelson & Denzel Washington.
But U.S. District Judge William Terrell Hodges said Snipes exhibited a “history of contempt over a period of time” for U.S. tax laws, and granted prosecutors the three year sentence they requested — one year for each of Snipes’ convictions of willfully failing to file a tax return.
“In my mind these are serious crimes, albeit misdemeanors,” Hodges said.
Snipes apologized while reading from a written statement for his “costly mistakes,” but never mentioned the word taxes.
“I am an idealistic, naive, passionate, truth-seeking, spiritually motivated artist, unschooled in the science of law and finance,” Snipes said.
Snipes said his wealth and celebrity attracted “wolves and jackals like flies are attracted to meat.” He called himself “well-intentioned, but miseducated.”

Jennifer will co-executive produce the show for U.S. cable channel TLC. Mariah Carey earns her sixth No. 1 on The Billboard 200 as her “E=MC2″ bows on top. The Island Def Jam set moved 463,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan, making it the diva’s biggest sales week ever. It’s also the highest sales week of the year, surpassing the 375,000 start of Jack Johnson’s “Sleep Through the Static” in February.
Carey’s last album, “The Emancipation of Mimi,” also landed at No. 1 in its premiere week, moving 404,000. She is now tied with Madonna and Janet Jackson for the second most No. 1 albums among female artists. Only queen bee Barbra Streisand, with eight, is ahead of the pack. There’s a good chance Madonna will add another No. 1 to her tally though, as her “Hard Candy” album drops next Tuesday (April 29).
